About Crutch Comforts
I first designed this cover when I was on crutches after tearing my ACL while playing in a national tennis tournament in 1999. Because it seemed awkward to carry a purse or backpack while on crutches and I never seemed to have enough pant pockets, I created a stretchy cover with several pockets to carry the items I needed for the day - water bottle, wallet, keys, cell phone, swimsuit & towel, book, CD player (no IPods back then), etc. Many revisions and a couple of years later, it was time to test drive them by someone other than myself. I gave a pair to the first person I saw on the street who was using crutches. We chatted and she said that she was flying out of town that weekend. Well it turned out to be a an incredibly convenient way for her to carry everything while traveling and since that time she has graciously spread the word about Crutch Comforts. Thank you Meg B.
After that, my first pairs sold to a police officer in Montana and to a tennis player in Nebraska. From that point on people from all walks of life - athletes, doctors, physical therapists, office workers, and anyone who had a temporary or lifetime need for crutches, have enjoyed the fun and practicality of Crutch Comforts.
No one wants to be on crutches, but if you are, this is a great way to be crutchin" through life.
Thanks for checking out Crutch Comforts!
